By mounting the ultra-thin EnerCera pouch battery, which has an excellent bending durability, on a flexible substrate fabricated by InnoLux Japan, we have realized a flexible sensor tag. Since it can be charged wireless and it is possible to send sensing data through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), it enables real-time freight and cargo management. In addition, EnerCera battery has an excellent environmental durability characteristics, therefore it can be applied to a wide range of environment, such as high temperature environment under direct sunlight and cold chain applications.
