A representative of NGK happened to visit a booth at a trade show manned by a member of the client’s development team and share information on the EnerCera lithium ion rechargeable battery range. He explained that EnerCera battery boasts both high capacity and high energy density. The employee then conveyed his team’s issues and arranged to learn more about EnerCera battery at a later date. The NGK representative subsequently proposed a solution comprising the EnerCera Pouch, which offers high-capacity in a package that is a mere 0.45 mm thick, enabling it to support multiple functions. EnerCera Battery Enables Development of Advanced High Secure Card

The development team requested samples of the EnerCera Pouch, which they embedded in a variety of prototype cards for assessment. After performing repeated testing, the team came up with a highly secure cryptocurrency card that supported not only fingerprint authentication but also Bluetooth-based smartphone pairing, that would enable the blockchain private key stored in the card to be handled securely. The EnerCera Pouch’s small footprint even freed up additional space, allowing the use of a larger display, or even a color display, if necessary.
